The place is in a nice village one hour away from Beijing and close to the best viewpoint I have ever seen of the great wall, simply fantastic.

Nestled in the laid-back Gubeikou Town, the single-storey house would be a warm base to explore the wild Beijing. Auper beautiful place. Very clean rooms. Extremely friendly and polite owner. 3 very cute cats. We came very late and the owner still cooked for us an absolutely perfect dinner. We loved to stay there and will come back. To visit great wall there are various choices. We took a taxi to Simatai and went up by cable car. Then hiked down. An unforgetable experience.
