This is one of the best hostels that I have stayed in this month. The kitchen is well appointed and the vibe is immaculate! If you stay here, use the space they have set aside for meditation. Brilliant!

At the beginning the place seems scary for a foreigner, but do not worry it’s absolutely safe inside. The staff is very attentive and tries to understand your needs. They cook inside, so even if you arrive late, they will provide you with hot delicious dinner. Breakfast is also really nice. The hostal is simple, but the owners try very hard for their guests.

The small pool and well-maintained hot tub were a welcome bonus! The young managers kept their eyes on all facilities yet never interfered with the quiet enjoyment by a well-balanced clientele. Te Ariki ticked every box… and Rapa Nui was The Highlight of my 3-month, 3-country journey.
