Umawtu Bed and Wine, hotel in Casablanca

Umawtu Bed and Wine enjoys a location in Casablanca, 26 miles from Flower Clock and 26 miles from Wulff Castle.

We were doing two tours of wineries in Casablanca so the Umawtu was excellent to sleep between the two :). Basically in front of the property just across the Av. de Constitution we found a nice place to have a dinner (although Google said it was closed ...), the Terrazas. A supermarket for some things we forgot was just a little walk further north. In the morning the breakfast was ample and rich. The wifi was good in contrast to the phone signal which was very poor, therefore a life saver .... The ladies in charge managed to order us a taxi for the second wine tasting and further for our journey back to San Antonio.

Great house in the little town of Casablanca, quiet location, 10 minutes from the centre of town. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and pillows, quality linen, plenty of blankets. Lots of hot water and good water pressure throughout. We took the bus from Santiago, you can hail the bus on Route 68 to get to Valparasio/ Viña del Mar (4000 peso). Enzo was a friendly and helpful host.

Absolutely stunning property with views looking out across Casablanca Valley. Carlos and the team couldn’t have been more helpful making sure the hot tub was ready, offering food delivery and taxis and even arranging a private wine tasting from a local vineyard on the terrace. The room itself was beautiful, warm even though we stayed in autumn and with everything you might need. A perfect way to relax and enjoy Casablanca Valley.

Location was lovely - set within the grape vines and with a lovely view across the valley capturing the sunset in the evening. Very private and peaceful - we ended up staying for 4 nights after booking 2. The tiny home was well equipped with everything we needed. Location is very close to a couple of beautiful wineries that offer tasting, lunch and ours. Recommend Casas del Bosque and Kingston.

Stayed only one night on the way back to Santiago (from Valparaiso). Beautiful place (bit in the midle of nowhere) - very quiet with plenty flowers around. We enjoyed the the hot tub late in the day. Personnel very friendly and restaurant was excellent (dinner). Took a taxi back and forth (40e) to have a wine tour in a Vineyard nearby. This comes at a certain price obviously.
