Location is also amazing since the property is facing the mountains and the property itself is in the middle of nowhere (for good reason) that gives you time to relax. Super kind host.

The host was super friendly and helpful. She doesn't speak English, I got by on my "ski-deutsch" and we communicated well. The breakfast was served 8am sharp every day and was excellent (fresh bread, deli meat/cheese, coffee, etc).

We had an unforgettable time at the Panorama Jurte. The views of Uri Lake and the surrounding mountains were breathtaking. The yurt was cozy, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and the best part was Luna, their adorable and smart dog, who made us feel right at home. The place is truly pet-friendly—even our cat was welcomed, and as you can see from the photo, she felt like a queen soaking up all the good vibes! For other guests, there’s also the option of enjoying a Thai dinner or booking a massage to relax after a hike, which sounds amazing. Ideal for nature lovers and anyone looking to unwind in a unique setting. We can’t wait to return!

Located next to the Intschi-Arnisee Cable Car, the Gästehaus Schäfli offers en-suite rooms and Swiss dishes made from regional products. The restaurant has a garden terrace. Breakfast was AMAZING, staff were so nice, and gorgeous. They allowed us to store our luggae while we hiked. The asparagus soup was to die for. 10/10. Cable car discount for staying here too.

Located in Bürglen, 45 km from Lucerne Station, der GASTHOF provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. Location was perfect for me and I wanted to do a hiking trail just 10 km from there. Situated on the street, very easy to find, big parking. Shared bathroom was less convenient, but it was very clean and had all the possible toiletries you might need. Basic and smallish but clean room.

Best part of this guest house is the owner, Manfred. His very warm welcome and enthusiasm were infectious. The inn is very clean. Food is delicious in the restaurant.

The guest house offers mountain views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property.... The place is great. Located in the middle of nature, its gorgeous in winter. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Dinner was great. The restaurant is open in the evening until late, the ownership must have changed because the info that dinner is only served between 5.30 and 6pm is false!

Only 100 metres from the Gemsstockbahn Cable Car at the edge of Andermatt, Baeren Restaurant & Rooms features an award-winning gourmet restaurant with a cosy fireplace. Spectacular service! Michael was extremely empathetic and resolved our demands! Nina and Liliana were also extremely empathetic and competent and, in addition, they became our friends. Very grateful for everything. Sust Lodge am Gotthard is located in Hospental amid the Swiss Alps and is reachable all year round by public transport. A delightful stay in a lovely Swiss village with old fashioned hospitality. We appreciated the older style bar, breakfast room and common area accommodations, while our room was modern and clean. Our host was more than happy to serve us drinks and provided a set table for us so that we could eat our take away pizza. Great parking for our bicycles in the bike room, complete with bike tools and a pump.
