The real experience on a farm, with very helpful staffs and interactions with farm animals! We tried feeding the chicken and petting the piggies, and the whole breakfast is really from farm to table (sorry piggies). The location is close to nearest village, and also only short drive to nearby hiking routes. All the things are comfortable and new, good hot water, immaculate kitchen. You can really tell how ppl like it via the guestbook.

The B&B was well located: it was calm, with a view on the nearby lake, but still fairly close to the A2 highway (~10km). The room was nice and decorated in a typical fashion. The bathrooms, toilets, and kitchen shared with the other rooms were clean and well equipped. Finally, there is a beautiful terrace with a view on the lakge, where you can eat or just sit.

The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The zone is in the middle of the village and the village is quite quiet. The hotel has lots of free parking spots. The hotel also has a restaurant, we ate there and the food was delicious.

Peter made us feel at home from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. You can tell that his heart and soul is in Nisihof, as well as everyone else’s involved. The bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, corridors etc. were all very clean and everything is thoughtfully arranged and put together. The atmosphere is great, too, very relaxed, with the possibility to spend some quiet time there as well as chat to the other guests. And there’s so much space, which we appreciated hugely with an 18 month old who loves exploring the environment. We had some lovely moments jumping on the trampoline, chilling on the swing … A great place for children and adults alike. We had dinner and breakfast there, both were carefully prepared for us and very tasty. We were sad we couldn’t stay longer but will definitely be back. Very happy to have discovered this gem!

Overlooking Lake Lucerne and the Alps, this guesthouse in Meggen is just 6 km from Lucerne and offers free Wi-Fi. The spacious rooms at Gasthaus zum Kreuz are non-smoking. Breakfast was great. Luzern pass was great. Bus right outside the door. Perfect. The host is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Strongly recommend this place.

The b&b is clean, nice, anything you need, a simple but good breakfast. Silvya is very talkative and always asks about your day and if you need anything. You also get your own key to the frontdoor.
