A wonderful small family-run hotel in the centre of the old town part of Veliko Tărnovo. The location is perfect, especially as it’s located one block away from the sometimes noisy main road. It’s a well-designed new building and spotlessly clean. Miroslav, the host while I was there, was a fountain of information and tremendously helpful in making onward travel plans.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, R34 Boutique Guest House is a guest house set in a historic building in Veliko Tŭrnovo, 400 metres from Archaeological Museum Veliko Turnovo. We loved our stay here! On arrival the host was absolutely lovely, and we got a beautiful, big and clean room. The bed and mattress were so comfortable, didn’t want to get out of bed! There was free tea and coffee at reception, where we could help ourselves at any time. The location was great and we walked everywhere within 10-15 minutes. Free parking was very useful and our little dog was more than welcome. This is a beautifully designed property by the river in nature away from the hustle and bustle but so near to everything at the same time. It should be called boutique hotel not a guesthouse! Will be back here!

Offering a garden and river view, Home with the veranda (B&B) free parking is located in Veliko Tŭrnovo, 400 metres from Forty Martyrs Church and 800 metres from Tsarevets Fortress. The location is great and in walking distance to the fortress. The view from the veranda is amazing. We had homemade bulgarian breakfast on it and could enjoy the view again. The best accommodation we had on our trip.

Magnificent apartments! The owners were very kind and gave some tips on local restaurants and bars. The location is excellent, as are the living conditions. The view from the balcony is as in the photo. Cozy atmospheric room,interesting lighting, comfortable bed, very quiet at night. 10/10!

Boasting a shared lounge, garden and views of river, HiStory INN Unique Guest House is situated in Veliko Tŭrnovo, 200 metres from Archaeological Museum Veliko Turnovo. The guest house is very nice. The room was clean, comfortable and very warm. There was noise from outside because the windows are opening to the railways but it didn't bother us, if the noise is a problem for you don't forget to take some earplugs.
