Amandine was truly the perfect host😊, so kind and gentle and cares so much for her guests. The B&B is like out of a fairytale book, with the specious sitting areas, and the wonderful pool. The breakfast was Super !! every little detail was being considered thoughtfully by Amandine, local wonderful cheeses, hams, yogurt and tasty breads, even the best gluten free buns! Our host (the owners) were very friendly and thier dog Lola was always ready to greet you every morning!! The location is definitely a prime location for traveling and visiting local places!! About a 10 min walk to the train station but if you want it's about a 3 minute drive (There is a nice size parking lot at the train station). Breakfast was served fresh every morning. Typical European Breakfast with deli meats, breads, jams, and yummy eggs!! Coffee made fresh🙂 Parking was right in front of the house. The bed was very comfy and definitely someone has an eye for design / style. The room was clean and very spacious with a nice little black sofa to just sit and relax after all the walking we did around Brussels. There is a mini fridge with some wine and beer! Tea and instant coffee were located in the room as well, if interested. The room does have WIFI. Owners made it feel like home and if we needed anything they would make it happen!! Definitely a very nice, for a weekend getaway!! Make sure you give Lola extra lovings!! 💗

We booked B&B Chez Spoons to explore the Heverleebos and the Meerdaalwoud from there, but were pleasantly surprised by the extensive walking and cycling possibilities in the region around the B&B. The owners are very warm people and are happy to welcome you into their own living room for breakfast, where we thoroughly enjoyed the fine chats with Emma. We'll definitely have to go back again to explore this beautiful part of Brabant-Wallon further ;-)
