Horseshoe Bay
True North B&B is 600 metres from Horseshoe Bay Ranch, where you can join a guided horse riding tour. Nelly Bay Harbour Ferry Terminal is 12 minutes’ drive away and Townsville is a 25-minute ferry ride away. Dab will do everything to make your stay perfect. The place is great comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and makes a great instagram picture.

immaculate presentation. beautifully furnished, attention to detail. very comfy bed, excellent shower, gorgeous outdoor decking looking directly at rainforest. cockatoos looking straight back at you! lovely fridge style breakfasts too. the dawn chorus of birds is magnificent, but noisy! also, wallabies come and go. delightful! the property is quite a way out of Nelly bay but the excellent bus service runs right by a minute away. don't hire a car, they can't go anywhere that the bus can't. day ticket on bus $6. car hire for a day $70 minimum.

Arcadia Beach Guest House and Car Hire is located directly across from the beautiful Geoffrey Bay Marine Park hosting many varieties of marine life. It has wonderful snorkelling opportunities with the self-guided snorkel trail and Molke shipwreck at your doorstep. Stroll to the end of the bay to see the rock wallabies or take a bush walk to amazing lookouts and see koalas in their natural habitat. Ian is very friendly and loves the island. The beach was so close, birds coming everyday. the tents were covered from the rain giving you an independant room, so very quiet with a lot of privacy. The best place to stay in the island.

Dandaloo is in a great location and perfect for family with kids. Short 5 min walk to Alma bay and bikini tree cafe which had delicious food. The bus stops right outside. The RSL is open for dinners on the weekend located across the road. 5 min walk to the walking tracks to the forts and other lookouts. Access to a laundry to wash clothes. Fans and air conditioning throughout. Lovely shady gardens and wildlife surrounding. A lot of space! 20 min walk to Nelly. Quiet location.
The cabin is so pretty. Suitable for a vacation trip. Private and quiet. Also, Aly is very sweet. She picked us up at Horseshoes Bay because we missed the bus stop. Thank you very much for everything. If there is a chance to go back again, I will stay in Kapok again!!. (I wish I could stay one more night🙂)

Beautiful house in a great location - close to the beach and restaurants. Very quiet and lots of wildlife around to enjoy. Plenty of space and great facilities in the house.
Great location, close to ferry terminal. Friendly staff at the front desk and in the restaurant. Choice of two pools, one being more quiet than the other. Well appointed and clean rooms. Air conditioning was great

Super large apartment with everything you need for the kitchen and bathroom. Quiet location (except for the birds), comfy bed, back porch, front and back windows provided good ventilation, 2 ceiling fans to help with cooling. Great location within walking distance of everything in arcadia. We had a car, but most places on the island you could get to by local bus or 15-20 minute walk. Pool was cool and refreshing.
Where do I start? 1. The spotlessly clean huge BBQ facility just outside the door. 2. The immaculate tropical garden enviornment 3. The huge rooms with Blackwood period furniture and an outside private shower that you sometimes find in Fiji Resorts 4. The serenity of being away from noisy town and streets 5. The charming manageress who "quietly" queried if all was in order and to our liking.
