We booked this because of the proximity to Addo Elephant Reserve. The chalets are close to the river but we did not see it from our location. The cabins are located in a park-like surroundings.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Cosy, private little cottage with all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay, including heating for those cold, crisp winter nights. Hannah & Eric were wonderful hosts, very communicative and welcoming throughout our stay.
Thank you Eric and Hannah for the wonderful stay in your beautiful cottage! We really enjoyed the views and the quietness of the place. The cottage is very well equipped and nicely decorated. Eric and Hannah are superb hosts, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable! Hope to see you again in the future!
We loved staying at Lupus Den Country House in such a beautiful and quiet location. The garden is a dream come true. All that is topped by Priscilla, who is the best host one could imagine. We felt right at home and very welcomed by her. We hope to come back on day to enjoy more of her cooking skills with a lot of ingredients directly from the garden 😊.
The guesthouse is in a beautiful historic house on a citrusfarm, 20 minutes from the Addo entrance. Priscilla is one of the most charming and caring people we’ve met. We shared intense stories. She has one goal: to give the guests as much comfort as they wish. Breakfast and diner very well and made with love. We’ll come back!
We had breakfast and dinner at Lupus Den. Both were delicious!
Priscilla prepares everything herself and you can taste that she puts a lot of love and effort in her food.
We had lovely conversations with her and can truly recommend her as a host.
The location is great if you're visitint Addo and it offers some peace and quiet which was exactly what we were looking for.
This place is a hidden gem,🤩 absolutely stunning, very neat and clean. I enjoyed every part of my stay. My booking was meant to be for 1 night, then go book elsewhere for the following day, but I decided to stay over for 2 nights. It's peaceful and quiet. What u see in the pics is what u get. The place is safe, gates are remote controlled, and there are well trained security guards in the yard. Oh, and Unlimited wifi😃. Im definitely coming back
Ps: Thank you to Melissa (owner/manager) for being super nice and kind💖🌺
Priscilla is a wonderful host. She did everything to make us happy and having a great, seven days holiday. Breakfast and Dinner were beyond expectations. We enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the garden, watching birds and swimming in the pool. Our outing to the close by Addo Elephant Park with the private guide Sarita was a true highlight. We also enjoyed hiking in the Zuurberg mountains and walking in the Alexandria sand dunes at the beach.
Stunning Bed and Breakfast with kindest owners! The rooms are specious, clean and very modern. The b&b has a well maintained garden and is very close to Addo Elephant Nationalpark. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and I would recommend anyone to stay here. Julie and Greg were not just very welcoming, they also helped with getting my car repaired. I would have not been able to continue my travels without their help, and I'm so grateful for everything they did for me! 10/10 - will definitely come back!
