Secure, good size rooms that were well decorated. Place was spotlessly clean. Really friendly and knowledgeable host. Delicious breakfast. Mother in law was moved to a more suitable room, by the host which was much appreciated.
Happy Jackal is conveniently located 2 km from the South Gate to Addo National Park.

Happy Jackal is the ideal starting point for a tour on the river or to Addo (2 minutes). Suzette is very caring. She recommended a good route through Addo where we saw all the animals except for lions and leopards (Maybe we didn't look hard enough.). There is a supermarket and a small restaurant 4 minutes away. The house is large, with very comfortable beds and well equipped. But we didn't really use the kitchen etc. but enjoyed the delicious breakfast from Suzanne and her staff overlooking the river before we started to Addo.

Amazing atractions nerby, as for example South Africa Highlights like Addo Elephant Park or Schotia Game Reserve, or Alexandia Dune - strongly recommended both of them, do not skip them while seightseeing the area (that can take you up to 3 days in the area)

Great location close to the Alexandria dunes and the Addo south gate. Excellent breakfast served on the deck overlooking the Sunday's River. We booked the family unit, with 2 interleading rooms, each room with its own bathroom. Sandboarding and kayaking were great.
Owners and staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Nice largish and clean swimming pool. Antelope and plentiful bird life on the large site. Tented accommodation was luxurious and each tent was situated in its own quiet and private area. Located only a minute or two from the South Gate of the Addo Reserve.
Super location just five minutes away from Addo Elephant National Park. This made it very easy to be at the park at the opening. Besides its great location, the apartment is very well equipped and nicely maintained. The garden area with mini-pool is nice, as is the access to the private jetty overlooking the river (with nice sunsets and lots of birds). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a nice place very close to (but outside of) Addo Elephant NP.
Fresh fruit salad with muesli and yoghurt, followed by a lovely cooked breakfast served in a lovely bright dining room. Great location for access to Addo South entrance and the Pearson Park Resort at Sundays River. We were able to walk to Taste of Africa for our evening meal which we really enjoyed.
The villa is beautiful, with a big pool, spacious rooms, a beautiful terrace overlooking the river and a great location very close to Addo's Elefant park. Wayne is a great host, provided us with lots of information and also prepared a delicious breakfast.
Wayne is a great host, providing all kind of information about Addo Elephant NP etc. We had a wonderful room, river side view, including comfortable King size bed and plenty of space.
Extra credit for his recommendation to book a 3 hours long private boat cruise on river Sundays with his neighbor Beau!
Great location for a visit to Addo Elephant Park. Very close to Addo Ematjolweni gate. Easy access from N2.Superbly well equipped kitchen. Spacious, beautifully furnished, especially Unit 1 which is a 3 bedroom with your own pool and lapa.Very welcoming owner who is willing to go an xtra-mile to help you with anything. The place is child friendly with a lot of kids activities to play. Friendly staff. There chocolates on the pillow, luxury toiletries in the bathroom. The house is beautifully decorated.
