Rosie and her family were very welcoming. Rosie cooked us some food when we arrived after the shops had closed. There are large maps on the wall of the loop to help you plan your trip. She will also help you book it all, we wanted to do a jeep tour, and she was able to give us the company contact details to help us do this.
The room was spacious. The bed was the comfiest one we had slept on in Vietnam. We had a lovely balcony area with a view of the garden and mountains.
We got fresh towels every day, and Rosie organised our laundry very quickly.
The homestay is outside town, so it is very peaceful.

The Safari Hostel offers one of the most affordable options for the Ha Giang Loop, which is a great deal for budget travelers. A notable perk is that if you book the loop tour with them, you can stay at their hostel for free—a nice bonus.
However, during our stay, we observed some issues with cleanliness. As we were taking a later bus to Dong Van, we had the chance to see the cleaning process. The staff member responsible for preparing the rooms did not appear to change the sheets fully. Instead, she brushed the sheets with a mop-like tool and only stripped the pillowcases, while the quilts were taken out and seemingly returned without being replaced.
While the hostel provides a decent base for the Ha Giang Loop and is budget-friendly, cleanliness might be a concern for some travelers. If you're comfortable with potentially reused bedding, this could still be a good option for the price and the experience they offer.

This exceeded my expectations for a hostel. Private room was small but clean with air conditioning and a fan and also toiletries and a towel provided. Breakfast included was fresh banh mi made when you got there and fresh fruit
Great location with beautiful views. The place is well kept and the breakfast was the best we had in all Vietnam. Also, I suggest you try the pizza at the restaurant (I'm from Italy and LOVED it). The owner was extremely helpful in organising private tours of Ha Giang with our limited time, but be careful with pricing, the lady is a hustler ;)
This accommodation probably corresponds to the quality/price, but I was rather disappointed. I didn't expect anything extra, but we got a room that was unfortunately very musty and moldy. I chose accommodation based on reviews, but I definitely wouldn't give this accommodation such a high rating, it was disappointing. The advantages of this accommodation were: cheap, excellent breakfast and food in general. Shared bathroom was ok, quite clean.
We had a very pleasant stay at the hostel. It's brand new, they moved a little bit out of the busy and noisy city centre and are in a more quiet surrounding now, just outside of town but with enough restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance.
Breakfast is also good and we were welcomed with a nice cup of tea.
The new location is not yet updated on booking (18 Feb 2024) so check google maps, there it's already correct.
