CASH ONLY
It is not clear in the posting of the property so I am putting it nice and big in the review. When we were told it was cash only, it was 11:45pm, we didn’t have anywhere else to go and luckily we had USD. If we didn’t, we would be in big trouble. When we told them that the cash only is not in the main description, it took them 5 minutes to locate where it says cash only. They should put this nice and big and in the important information section. Cash only is not a big deal but the fact that we were done with our trip and flying out of the airport, most people would not have cash on them. Decent rooms, very close to the airport, clean. There is a shared bathroom (you don’t get your own with a private). More of a hostel than an inn. Good for one night, nothing more

Prior to our arrival, the winery team exhibited excellent communication skills, keeping us informed about the various options available. They arranged for lunch, a private tour, and dinner, culminating in an exceptional experience from start to finish.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Posada el Bambu is a little gem tucked away in a quiet residential neighbourhood conveniently close to Carrasco Airport. Our room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was good. What makes this a gem is the hosts. They could not have been more helpful or welcoming. They are both artists and their artwork is on view around the property giving the whole place a delightful vibe totally different to a corporate hotel.
Wonderful garden. Large comfortable bed. Splendid breakfast spread in a lovely setting. Very attentive and genuine hospitality from charming and warm hosts who have created an amazing haven. Uruguayan hospitality at its best 👌
The Bed and Breakfast is located in a quiet neighborhood, not far from restaurants and the beach. The hosts were very friendly and gracious and their small Air BnB is a delight. We also enjoyed hanging out with their dogs :-)
