GORGEOUS views, the entire room was practically windows to the lush greenery. The accomodation had wonderful vibes. The owners live upstairs and have two dogs and six cats, which were all very friendly (please tell Tiger I miss her).

We loved everything about Ka’awa Loa, the hosts have created a very special place. The staff, location and breakfast were all incredible, thank you Hannah! We were so well looked after but also made to feel at home and wish we could have stayed longer! Not a bad word to say, it’s heaven.

This Inn is located in a quiet, more rural part of Kona. It is very private and secluded. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the ocean and swimming in the non-chlorinated pool.

View of Pacific Ocean from upper deck is gorgeous. Feeling like waking up at a farm with cows and pigs roaming in the morning. Breakfast at the upper deck including fresh fruits and juice was just nice to kick start the day.
Breakfast was delicious with gourmet coffee. The private lanai had a nice view of park lands and wildlife. We borrowed some of the snorkel gear that they provided for guests. The location was convenient for getting to the Captain Cook monument and two step snorkeling. Carl and his German Shepherd Rex were gracious hosts. We thought Hale-Hoola was a great value for staying near Kona.
What a wonderful relaxed place. Loved the substantial breakfast on the upper lanei with the birds to watch. Our room faced the ocean and the sunset and had its own private lanei. We could bring food back from local restaurants and there was a microwave. It was a brilliant location for the national park and Two Steps snorkelling. Our hosts were very welcoming. Lovely comfy bed. Beach equipment provided too.
I enjoyed the location, but I enjoyed meeting Kurt and Kana more. They were nice people and treated us well. The food was amazing. I never experienced bed and breakfast. This experience was very unique because we had fresh fruits and something new everyday. Thank Doctor Kurt and I hope one day we can met again. Mahalo!
Our stay was great. Lovely quiet place in the nature with a beautiful view to the ocean. Breakfast is delicious, a lots of fruits from own trees🤗 Thank you for having us.
