The place is on a very good and central location. We were in a room on the first floor which was super. It was a big and airy room. There are several common areas that you can use in the building. The staff is one of the big assets of this hotel, they are soooo friendly and very welcoming. The breakfast (which was very good) is on the inner courtyard of the building where you can chat with others or have it on your own.
We really loved this place and would definitely stay here again !!

We stayed at Tembo B&B Apartments for two nights before heading to Kendwa Beach, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. Check-in was smooth, and our room was super clean with a working AC, which made for a comfortable stay.
While the apartments are not located directly within the hotel, we knew in advance that we could still access the hotel’s facilities, and the short walk to the hotel was no issue for us.
The restaurant at the hotel was decent—nothing extraordinary, but also not bad. The breakfast was ok. Overall, we had a good stay at Tembo B&B Apartments. It’s a convenient base for exploring Stonetown, with comfortable rooms and access to hotel amenities.

Everything was great! It’s in a great location, could be a little hard to find but we had a guide so was fine. House was really nice and the host was really accommodating for our arrival and checkout times.

Take note to close shutters and doors otherwise it will be noisy at night. Great location within walking distance of charming streets of Stone Town.
The staff is super friendly, the location is great with many restaurants and highlights of stonetown very close. The rooftop terrace has a nice breeze making it a good spot to enjoy a book in the evening. The breakfast consists of an omelette, bread with jam, fresh fruit and coffee or tea, it tastes very good and good portions.
We stayed twice in this very nice guesthouse in the middle of Stonetown. The rooms and private bathroom are basic, comfortable and clean. You eat your breakfast, that comes with fresh fruit, on the rooftop terrace.
The owner is very helpful and tries to do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You also can arrange your tours here, they are of great value.
The location is ideal. No cars around, close to the old slave market and the food market. If you visit Stonetown, we can definitely recommend this place!

Location is easy to find…just tell the driver ‚Culture‘ (i.e. Culture Musical Club). Once there a few meter to the right is this B&B. Everything in safe footwalk distance.
