I have visited Zanzibar before and stayed at a few hotels (large and small) and this is by far my favorite hotel, my kids and I did not want to leave. It was a hidden gem! The staff were very friendly, the owners were always available and very sweet and kind, the food was the best in Zanzibar. It’s a very quiet and lovely getaway. The beach felt like a private beach away from the overbearing Masai and tourists. The hotel was very cozy, authentic and unique. The rooms were spacious, the balcony was stunning and watching the sunrise every day was beautiful, AC was working perfectly, rooms was always clean and they clean twice a day. If you want to relax.. this is the place to stay! The owners and staff quickly became our family. Thank you for the most beautiful stay, we will be back again! This is a big apartment very close to the beach. The owner real tries to be accommodating, even got a SIM card for us when wifi wasnt working. And brought kitchen stuff up so we could cook. Beach is big, quiet and lovely. You have a good view from the balcony of the ocean.

Roberta the hotel manager was amazing. she is super nice and we had great conversations with her. the two dogs at the property were the cutest little creatures. very nice garden to chill and relax away from the very busy beach. it is a little oasis.
rooms are very new, beautifully designed and the AC and internet are working great. the rooms are a short walk to the restaurant and the beach. the restaurant is beautiful and there are several sun beds to chill. overall the staff was very friendly.

Nice place, good location, definitely has style. Plenty of activities available directly there (including scuba diving, dolphine swimming etc). The staff are really friendly and extremely nice and will help you in any way they can.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.

Zanzibar Magic Boutique hotel was the perfect stop on our honeymoon to Zanzibar. The staff were so friendly, the food amazing and the location was right on the beachfront. Matemwe beach is quieter than Nungwi or kendwa but the sea was lovely to swim in.
