Roberta the hotel manager was amazing. she is super nice and we had great conversations with her. the two dogs at the property were the cutest little creatures. very nice garden to chill and relax away from the very busy beach. it is a little oasis.
rooms are very new, beautifully designed and the AC and internet are working great. the rooms are a short walk to the restaurant and the beach. the restaurant is beautiful and there are several sun beds to chill. overall the staff was very friendly.

We stayed in Polly lodge for 5 days. Simon and Pollo are very nice hosts. The lodge is very quiet and convenient to access the beach. Simon’s cooking is the best in the island. He makes sure all the food materials are fresh. We really enjoyed the paradise-like environment. The rooms are very clean with air conditioning. I would definitely recommend to all my friends without hesitation.

The staff at Cast Away are exceedingly helpful, friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and even spoiled. The location is fantastic, right on the beach with a beach bar serving drinks. The facilities were beautiful and comfortable. I would gladly return to this hotel!

My girlfriends and I had an absolutely lovely stay at Baridi Villa. The staff was super kind, friendly and professional . They were extremely helpful in all matters and questions we had about the area and amenities and the service was highly accommodating. For e.g. they connected us to a hair stylist, money exchange service, food delivery, taxi pick up etc. , all delivered straight to the accommodation. We felt super safe, embraced and respected as women of colour, which is not always the case while travelling, so this was an important aspect to us. We really enjoyed being in a safe space of a mostly women run accommodation. We were positively surprised at the easy access to the beach. Through the back door of the accommodation, there is an alley that brings you directly to the beach within 2 walking minutes. The area was truly the best of both worlds: The beach side abit touristy, but not too much, with a range of restaurant options. As well as slow paced living in the local village on the other side, where you can find fresh fruit, lovely homey food at local prices and some local clothing shops, hair salon etc.
We enjoyed the pool and whirlpool area and relaxing days on the outdoor bed swings. We would definitely book here again and warmly recommend this stay. Be sure to be respectful of the locals and definitely leave a big tip for the staff, as it seems that many people stay far away from their families to work on the island.

We had great relaxing time in Kiwengwa. The facilities are very comfortable, great restaurant and really good food. The access to the private beach is trough the internal sand path, but it is just a few steps. The beach is perfect with comfortable sun beds, and there is a beach front restaurant also with great food and drinks. It is very safe. This location and this boutique resort is more quiet and cozy, which we appreciated mostly. I strongly recommend to stay there.
La villa is better than it appears beautiful pictures. The rooms are super spacious and meticulously cleaned every morning. Furthermore, they are super equipped and the private pool offers an oasis of relaxation with breathtaking sea views.

We were welcomed like old friends by the delightful Italian staff and the waitresses were charming and funny and couldn’t do enough for us. The beach is right there and the hotel’s private area is immaculately kept. Delicious food is offered is at a fair price and we rarely ate elsewhere. The pool was clean and not over chlorinated and most welcome every day. Would, and probably will, stay again!
The hotel is located at the quieter end of the beach and room was located right on the beach so it felt like you had your own private beach. We really liked the front patio and hammock.
