Beautiful new and well appointed hotel. Crisp laundry and spotless towels. Attentive and helpful staff. Beautiful infinity pool overlooking the sea. A place for peace and quiet - esp beach combing and bird watching along the mangrove fringed shore.
Ally is a very good host that tries his best to help and make you feel at home. I had the room with own bathroom and it was big and comfy. Staff makes really nice food. A bit of a walk to the nice beaches but cheap to go there by motorbike. Friendly people in the lokal area. Definitely one of the cheapest accommodation around. Buy a local SIM to have access to the Internet. Cold showers. Tours can be booked from here.

The kitchen can be used to prepare your own meals, as well they have a menu in case you would like to order dinner.
Beautifully maintained, green and peaceful, very very kind and helpful staff, care for nature and animals (Pablo the dog was cute and friendly as well), well decorated, easy to move around with tuktuk, local beach nearby... and we were almost the only ones staying, so it was pleasant and quiet
Mr Ally Mgeni and his team were super nice and super helpful from the beginning, also with supporting the transport by public ferry which is not so easy to handle as a non local.
Had a nice stay in this quite area which is though in walking distance to the airport and to the city center
I absolutely loved the beach front location, my comfortable bungalow and the friendliness of the staff. I was impressed by how they were able to organize everything without me searching for the whale sharks safari boat trip, diving and private boda-bod drivers to explore the island. Everything was taken care of.

1. Staff: all are very friendly, nice and helpful. Major plus for this place and they have taken good care of us. THANKS!
2. Proximity to the beach, strolling along the beach during sunset has been really relaxing and the views were great
3. Great whaleshark snorkeling tour with Captain Kino. Swam with lots of whalesharks and the price is better than other places too. Don't miss this!
4. Food and drinks of the restaurant are much cheaper than nearby places and are of good quality.

it’s private, spacious and fits well with the nature. The bed is comfortable, staff vas very nice and yummy food. There is a choice of fresh seafood for lunch and dinner and fresh fruits available. Th ask pretty much all what we eaten the whole time and was really delicious. There is also a bar and bed hammocks which was great for relaxing. Hassan the host Organise a whale shark tour for us which we really enjoyed as that was the main reason. for visiting Mafia.
