Family run Hotel just a short walk from the beach/town centre.We where in Room 10,second floor at the rear looking over the town towards the mountains.The owner was friendly and willing to answer any questions we had.Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The Hotel in all areas was spotlessly clean.Bed was firm and very comfortable.We would definitely look at staying here again.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Everything was wonderful. The apartment was charming, comfortable, and spacious, perfect for a long stay. Located in a quiet area very close to Funchal, it is equipped with everything necessary. A very large terrace. The sunrise is beautiful. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The parking space is a plus. Check-in is easy, and the host is very helpful. Nelio helped us with information about the area. We hope to return soon.
It is a very lovely place. It is located near the airport, but it was really quiet after closing the windows. Better sleep than in centrum of Funchal! During our stay there was some firefighters practise/training at night, we didn´t notice it at all. We had delicious cookies and lots of fresh fruit prepared for us (even though we only stayed for two nights). Everything was just perfect, we will definitely be back again next year! :)
We enjoied our stay in Casa da Boto. It is a two bedrooms old house Madeiran style, with a small luxury garden around where you can nicely arrange the table for meals. It is confortably located close to the main road from the airport to Funchal, but still in a very quiet spot; it also has a dedicated place for your car (don't rent a big one, though). Definitely, a nice place to stay to visit the wonderful island of Madeira.
Clean, spacious accommodation. Great location close to the airport and in a quiet area within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Machico. There is an incredible viewpoint to watch the sunrise that is within walking distance. Even though it is close to the airport, it is nice and quiet. Easy check-in, and hostess was very kind. Great value for money. Would stay here again, and I recommend the flat to anyone looking for a quiet, self-catering accommodation in Madeira.
Although we had a car, it was a great location, we didn't need to use it to go to the city center. By around 10 minutes we could go to the supermarket, the local market, cafés, restaurants, and the beach. We stayed here while we were working remotely, and the WIFI connection was great. I would stay here if we decide to come back.
Amazing view over the ocean 👌🏻!! Very tidy and charming BOOKING apartment equipped with everything you need. A good bed and a good bathroom. The owner is a great host and is there when you need him. Would absolutely recommend staying there! EXCEPTIONAL
