The breakfast was more food than 2 people could ever eat. The staff was soo nice and extremely accommodating. The cottage that we stayed in was absolutely adorable, very clean and so old and antique it was an honor to stay there.

The place is beautiful and comfortable. We loved having an entire apartment, and especially the beautiful terrace. The proprietors are very nice and helpful, and gave us good tips on things to do. The grounds are awesome, even though it was tough for us to walk into town.

A beautiful, clean, peaceful room in a school. Paulo was friendly and helpful and served a very nice contental breakfast. Lovely stay in a neighborhood near the city where we had out best meal after 19 days stay. O Branco was the name of the restaurant very good value

Very friendly owner who really goes an extra mile for her guests to feel as comfortable as possible. Very nice house with a refreshing swimming pool, surrounded by romantic vineyards. Excellent breakfast with local produce. Great location, optimal starting position to explore the Douro valley.

Excellent location; stylish boutique hotel with lovely pool area - we were the only guests sitting outside and had dinner from the snack menu which was very tasty. Excellent breakfast too.
Good location near the cathedral and the tourist office. Large free car park in easy walking distance. Breakfast limited but we augmented it by visiting a supermarket for fresh fruit. Room had a small private balcony (without view) and was clean. Plumbing was a little noisy but effective.
A nice boutique-type hotel integrating modern architecture into an old structure. Fantastic views. The location is very quiet. Nice substantial breakfast with eggs made to order. Easy to do hikes through the vineyards from the hotel.
Beautiful 200 year old house, good beds, excellent breakfast and refressing swimming pool with great view. Our charming hostess Elisabete was wonderful - we’ve got many useful tips of great restaurants, wine tastings and walking paths. She even gave us drive to the town for dinner.
Great hosts, great location. The owners are some of the nicest people we have ever stayed with and made the place feel like home for my son, mother in law and husband. Would recommend staying here to everyone!
