The property was simply amazing. It's a modern house that also features some walls of volcanic rocks, which are typical from the island. The decoration of the house amenities was very tasteful.
The shared kitchen was well equipped and the refrigerator was well stocked for each guess to have breakfast.
The bed was super comfortable. We climbed Pico mountain, so this was a very important to us.
A good location for a stress-free stay in Lajes do Pico, Casa da Ribeira is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the mountain.

Excellent Stay. Helen's place was perfect. Our room was much larger than expected with a refrigerator, dish sink, shower, heat/cooling, king size bed, table, wood fireplace and balconies. The room had large windows and lots of light. It was super clean. Breakfast had variety including eggs and was plentiful. Both Helen and Vera were very easy to chat with at breakfast always willing to provide answers to our local cultural and tourist destination type of questions. The location was quiet with beautiful views of the sea.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Location is great if you like a quiet place. For example, in the morning we could see the dolphin pod swimming in the ocean, right from the veranda. The house is very spacious, we only used one of the 3 rooms.
Fantastic location at the harbor and right at the promenade. Gorgeous view of Pico mountain and the sunset. Amazing private terrace. The owner stocked up our fridge and we had more than enough food. Owner very helpful and overall great communication.

The location was excellent!! Centered and equidistant to anywhere we wanted to go either side of the island.

Super well cleaned, the decoration is nice and cozy. The lounge/shared space has comfort and the view is perfect for anyone who needs to find a quiet place and work at distance or simply to relax and enjoy nature. The lady who receives the guests is delightful and helpful!
The reception staff is very friendly and willing to help. The hotel itself blends in perfectly with the natural surroundings. The view in the back of the hotel is amazing! That alone is worth a stay. The "whale watching tower" is a nice touch. Overall, very quiet, spacious hotel area so very private.
