Beautiful, peaceful family run place, the owners have eye for beauty. All details were thought to the last detail. Lush gardens. The owners were extremely kind and provided tips about walking/hiking tips, gave restaurant suggestions etc.
All guests had breakfast around one big table. This made the place to feel like home, people to discuss and make new friends. Wonderful experience!
Remember to visit the lovely ceramic studio next to the O Zimbreiro, run by a family member.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Location is great if you like a quiet place. For example, in the morning we could see the dolphin pod swimming in the ocean, right from the veranda. The house is very spacious, we only used one of the 3 rooms.
Fantastic location at the harbor and right at the promenade. Gorgeous view of Pico mountain and the sunset. Amazing private terrace. The owner stocked up our fridge and we had more than enough food. Owner very helpful and overall great communication.

Super well cleaned, the decoration is nice and cozy. The lounge/shared space has comfort and the view is perfect for anyone who needs to find a quiet place and work at distance or simply to relax and enjoy nature. The lady who receives the guests is delightful and helpful!
The reception staff is very friendly and willing to help. The hotel itself blends in perfectly with the natural surroundings. The view in the back of the hotel is amazing! That alone is worth a stay. The "whale watching tower" is a nice touch. Overall, very quiet, spacious hotel area so very private.
