The cottage is lovely, comfy bed and has everything you need, including things for a nice breakfast in the morning. The gardens are beautiful. We stayed here the night before starting the Timber trail, a very convenient location for that. Nice and easy communication from Jill, would definitely stay again!

We liked everything about this place. Paula has set it up with just about everything you could need. The refrigerator and pantry had plenty of goodies. The cottage has a washing machine and dishwasher. It was great watching all the activities on the dairy farm, and we really enjoyed the tour of the property that Steve gave us. It was so nice we wanted to cancel our stay in Auckland and stay here a few more days. Alas, the cottage was already booked.

Super cute little place away from civilization. Sunset/sunrise was spectacular. The owners are very upfront about what they provide (this is not a state of the art 5-star hotel). It is perfect for what it is intended, a unique little B&B with a chance to engage with the owners over breakfast. Very warm and comfy stay.

Barbara and Leo are such amazing hosts. They are very friendly and welcoming. We made an instant connection and it was so much fun with them. Barbara even gave us a tour of their huge farm.
The house itself is huge and very well maintained. There's ample parking space. The house entrance, living and dining room is great. Moreover, Barbara and Leo made us feel being at home.

It was a lovely room overlooking the railway (lovely plants around), nice and quiet, private, clean, lovely layout with a little balcony. Heater was perfect, helpful and friendly staff. Close to the caves. A lovely stay.
Lovely quiet cottage, beautiful gardens, excellent breakfast included, friendly host - there was nothing we didn't like. A must stop for keen gardeners but recommended for anyone. Wish we could have stayed longer & we would happily visit again.
