Owners were away so left breakfast for us . All very clean and comfortable, only snag was windows had been left open and there were a lot of flying insects and moths which were annoying. Otherwise excellent.

A luxurious property on the outskirts of Matamata and close proximity to Hobbiton. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Tony and Miriam were very friendly, gracious hosts. We really enjoyed use of their hot tub and all the small touches were really appreciated.

Perfect for our overnight stay to visit Hobbiton - wish we could have stayed another night. Great location, off street parking, nice and quiet. Friendly greeting, easy check in. Our room was spacious, warm, comfortable, modern and clean. Loved that it had 2 armchairs too.

Location was excellent for Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves visit! We could walk to a lovely (and very yummy) coffee shop each morning and a fun brew pub at night. There were other restaurants on the street, but one was having a private party and another was fully booked.
If you’re looking for super luxury travel vibe, it’s very hard to find in this area, my friend who is a pretty posh gal was a bit worried. However the Broadway Motel was IMMACULATELY clean, spacious, and very welcoming. We both were very please and highly recommend it!
Everything had been thought of and there were lots of nice touches throughout the accommodation. Excellent breakfast delivered to the studio. Fabulous gardens which were lovely to look at but steady rain stopped us exploring. Great location close to Hobbiton and lovely hosts
