Altamont is absolutely wonderful: the facilities are outstanding, I love my room, the welcome tour was great and the whole place just has a wonderful feel to it. I especially enjoyed a soak in the hot tub after a fantastic day walking; plus being able to do laundry and dry clothes in the drying room. The kitchen is equipped brilliantly and is absolutely spotless. It really is perfect!

I like kitchen stuffs for cooking, there are everything you need to cook.
Price is quiet reasonable,
heating and hot water system is awesome, water pressure good.
Equipping with washing machine including detergent and dryer were so good, as some of other accomodations doesn't offer it.
We’ve been travelling for nearly a month and have stayed in Motels mainly. So Cardrona Hotel had a lot more luxury about it. Cosy, comfortable clean. Open fires. Great food in restaurant for evening meal and breakfast. Fabulous place to stay with onsite parking.
The hotel and the surrounding area are lovely and full of history and character. The gardens are beautiful and it was lovely to sit beside a roaring fire with a glass of wine.
The bedroom was charming, with a beautiful garden view, the beds were comfy and the bathroom was quaint with a fantastic shower. All the staff members we encountered were welcoming and friendly.

Lovely setting inside (great room and common area) and outside (nice terrace surrounded by farms). Very clean, very quiet, charming. Great hosts great breakfast. 1km from a fabulous pub for dinner. Cannot ask for more. Great value for money. Thank you so much for the lovely memories.
Very quaint. Accommodation was quiet and comfortable. Staff friendly, but very busy trying to manager the bar and restaurant at the same time.
