Perfect location right on a beautiful temple square but still felt quiet and peaceful. The restaurant here is fantastic and the building has so much charm and character. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable but be warned that an old Nepali building is not for tall people! Even I had to stoop to enter the room and I am 5"3 but it was all part of the experience of staying in a beautiful old building such as this. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and arranged a driver to take me on a sunrise drive up to Nagarkot.

This lovely guest house is managed by a charming couple Laxman and Sanu who try so hard to make a guests stay perfect. The location is in the heart of Bhaktapur far away from tourist hotels, here you are really immersed in the community while still enjoying home comforts. Dattarraya Square is less than a five-minute walk away where there are a couple of recommended restaurants. We had a spacious room with balcony. Hot water always available and while the room was quite cool in the evenings, a portable gas heater is provided which was very effective. No kettle in the room but there is kitchen on the top floor to make drinks. Good breakfast each morning which is European style with boiled egg, yoghurt and fruit, cheese, tomato and cucumber slices plus bread and jam, juice and coffee.

Pretty much everything. An hour drive from the city, great location, excellent view. Pool was good sized and the jacuzzi was great. The food was great with plenty of options. Breakfast was on point and plenty of selections. Perfect for a staycation or a family and friends gathering. Staffs were friendly and helpful and very polite.
Great location in the bush, and close to the main attraction of the area - the suspension bridge. Staff were really helpful and friendly and made every effort to make our time special. Nice private little cottages on the side of the hill.
Luxury in Nepal. Beautiful resort, perfect spot for a luxury break in Nepal. Stayed with friends for couple of nights at this amazing resort during a 3 week tour of Nepal. Very attentive staff, amazing rooms, fantastic food and great location. Although we couldn't see too much of the 'mountain views' due to polution/smog and the time of year, this was a very peaceful and relaxing place to chill out for a couple of days. Could go for walks, great spa facilities, yoga available, plenty to do, or not.
I really like how private it has been. It’s more kind a of an Homestay, than a Hotel. It also has been a really really nice and quiet area to calm down and go for hikes or to do yoga 😋 would definitely come back to live the local village life up in the hills. they have a beautiful view at Himalaya as well (if it’s not too foggy)
I stayed 2 nights at Sunrise Point Homestay and it was great!
The view from the room is absolutely stunning, I had the best sunrise in 3 months traveling through Nepal!
The host family is friendly and welcoming, the food is cheap and delicious, everything is fresh and come from the garden.
The place is quiet and I wish I could have stayed longer because this is the perfect place to be for settling a bit after weeks of backpacking...
Thank you for everything!
Very great hosts who helped us with every request. The food was the best we had so far in Nepal. If you like it simple, quiet and close to nature, this is the right place for you. Directly from the accommodation you can do various hikes. We will come again.
