Breakfast was amazing, if a little steep in price, staff at the restaurant were kind and helpful, and even prepared a cheese platter for me to eat when I arrived well after the kitchen was closed. There is a nice quiet common room (farmhouse kitchen) with a table and seating for anyone wanting to eat their own picnic not in their room or just to enjoy sitting in a quiet spot and reading. The on demand car service I hired to take me to the train the morning of my departure was prompt, friendly and reasonably priced compared to a taxi. Perfect spot on the quiet side of the canals for those who have a kayak or bicycle to travel to Breukelen, Maarssen and Utrecht.

Beautiful location, surrounded by fields and waterways. Really quiet and peaceful setting. Marianne our host was very helpful and knowledgeable about places of interest nearby and further afield. Hotel had all the comforts of home, such as a kitchen with cooker, fridge, kitchenware etc. Lovely modern bathroom with toiletries.
The property is absolutely lovely and the inner decoration is very tasteful. I also liked that it is a two room apartment, so there is plenty of space and it is well furnished with water boiler, nespresso machine, plates and cups. I also enjoyed the quiet location and the charming little village. An extra plus is that there is a bakery 5 min away.
