For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Our Tucán suite was clean and comfortable and private. We were happy! The staff was very nice and friendly and accommodating. Great location surrounded by nature and near all the archeological sites.
We were looking for a cheap but quiet hotel just for two nights, as a base for exploring Calakmul. NICTE-HA was perfect for that. Just enough away from the highway to not be bothered by the noise, simple but sufficient rooms, friendly personnel (they hardly spoke English, but friendliness is a better language anyway). Private parking, close to restaurants.
- Oscar is a great host and kindly checked me in at 3am when my bus was delayed
- The room is comfortable and in a great location in the centre of town, situated behind a restaurant that does great cheap pizzas
Nice and quiet place! A bit away from the “city center” but still reachable by foot.
Pool and Garden were very nice!
Staff was super friendly and fast for cleaning the room. Good choice to stay for Becan, Calakmul, etc.
