Very nice, clean and quiet room. Super good breakfast (Mexican and yoghurt + granola). Good Wifi. The whole estate is in extremely good shape and beautifully built. The hosts were super friendly and we felt very welcome from start to finish. The hosts are a family of weavers which perform the craft of carpet weaving. You'll see lots of their work on display and you can also buy the beautiful pieces. We could park our rental car on a dedicated parking spot right in front of the estate. The drive to Hierve al Agua was roughly an hour. Can highly recommend the place and would definitely stay there again.

We felt so welcomed and taken care of at Casa Gutiérrez. Juan and his family helped us with everything that we needed and gave us lots of good recommendations of what to do in the village. The house is beautiful and we could also enjoy the lovely terrace with a view over the village and a clean and well-equipped kitchen. The workshop at the house where the family makes beautiful hand made rugs is another thing that we really recommend to do while you are here. Overall I don’t think we could have found a better place to stay in Teotitlán.

We really felt like a home stay, a room in a part of the family home, with 3 generations and the weaving looms in the same area
The bed was comfortable and we slept very well! Shower was hot (after running a little while) and toilet are basic and shared, but fine.
Our hosts made us feel so welcome, they did everything to smooth our travels and the food they cooked was wholesome and homely.
The roads in village are a bit bumpy if coming by rental car, but nothing different to out of town mexican roads! Big thank you to Ana and Carlos!

The family was so friendly and received us with open arms. They invited us to join them and shared their traditional way of celebrating dia de muertos. Muchas graçias!
The room and everything else was really clean. The kitchen had everything you needed (mixer, all cooking utensils, microwave, big fridge, sugar). The location was perfect and we really liked Teotitlan.
I would really recommend staying here and visiting Teotitlan.

I liked everything, this is by far one of the best place, if not the best I have ever stayed.
The staff is amazing, they are always ready to help, and it’s so easy to meet people there, there is a very friendly atmosphere, it felt like a family home.
We had a very good tasty breakfast, different every day (available from 8:30 to 10:00).
We stayed in the double room with private bathroom, and it was very spacious.
There are activities every days, and lots of excursions, I wish we stayed more in Oaxaca.
If we come back we would definitely choose the same place.

This is the concept of Bed and Breakfast! Spacious room and really nice bed.
Wonderful breakfast.
we were in the master bedroom
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
At first I was worried about what kind of place it would be because it was so cheap, but it turned out to be a wonderful house with a very kind family. I was moved by the home of the indigenous people who have been making traditional Mexican fabrics for generations. You can experience sights and experiences that cannot be experienced at ordinary hotels. I definitely want to stay there when I go to Mexico again
