The staff was very friendly and did their best to accommodate us. The views are outstanding. And the cost was very reasonable for both lodging and food (that said, I would have paid a bit more for attention to the very basic upgrades that would make it more comfortable.

Amazing hosts, great base for hiking activities in the region. We came here for 3 nights, stayed 6 as it felt so cozy. It’s a small family business, each family member is super nice and helpful. Mama cooks delicious food per your order. The brothers help you with organizing anything you need. We did Gartmore Falls, Adam’s Peak and Pekoe Trail. Then they brought us to Hatton to catch the train to Colombo. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for the wonderful time and hope to see you again.

We loved the space with the shared living room and enjoyed our balcony overlooking the tea plantations. We loved that we could use the kettle and mugs in the kitchen to make our own tea. Most of all we loved the privacy. A lot of places we have stayed in Sri Lanka always has someone hovering or in our space, convincing us to book tours. It was really nice that we were able to just have our own space without feeling pressured to book. We also loved the bathroom. It was one of the first bathrooms we had where the shower had glass that prevented the entire bathroom from getting wet. Local eateries were within walking distance.

The location is phenomenal! The building has so many windows and French doors, it gets a lot of natural light. There are private balconies in the rooms; however what really spoke to me are the airy livingrooms and varendas on each floor.
If you wake up early you can catch stunning pink dawn and orange sunrise.

The host speaks excellent English and gave us lots of information about Sri Lanka and things to see. The room was quiet and comfortable, the food was excellent! He helped us book a tour of the tea fields and factory and the tour was amazing. Highly recommend!
