We had the best of times. A homestay but with all the luxury of a hotel. There are four rooms (ours as on the first floor), clean and spacious, huge comfortable beds – all having either balconies or gardens.
Our flight was 12 hours delayed and were cheerfully picked up by Saman from Colombo airport and enjoyed a drive up to Dickoya with a late dinner on the way. Our welcome drink was coffee and a beer and a wonderful greeting.
We visited the waterfall, walked in the tea plantations – had magnificent breakfasts on our balcony (the best while we were away in Sri Lanka) and beautiful freshly made dinners, sharing a table with other guests (there were smaller tables if you want).
We were treated like family friends. This is a special place run by Saman, Samillia and a team who really care. It could not have been better.

We stayed 1 night so we can climb Adam’s peak…. It was a big mistake to stay here due to the long drive to the starting point.
Host are nice couple, helpful and on site.
The place advertised as a VILLA… but it is far from being the vila we know…
This place allocate on the top of the hill, far from everything and need a transport to get to town and back. The VILA is actually one level in the middle of a 5 story building, 2 bedrooms and a sitting area .
Other guest rooms allocated upstairs and downstairs… so as you can understand, it is not a VILA …
Villa means a free standing house all to your self with a garden….
Keep in mind that you staying in the middle part of a building!

The room is modern and not small. It was very clean, very agreable, hot water. You face both the road and some tea plantation. But what makes it incredible is the family welcoming you. Helpful, help sort out my trip. Thanks to his tuk tuk he took me to see nice places, arranged the tea plantation visit. And the food... amazing salmon curry. Really enjoyed it there.

We had an amazing experience with Ravi (the owner) and his family. We put together a number of activities with him and agreed on a fair fixed price. This meant we were able to explore a lot in Hatton and the surrounding area and experienced some great things. Rafting, waterfalls, Adams Peak at sunrise. We had breakfast and dinner every day. We were taken to the laundry. The whole family gave us a very warm welcome. Thank you for the great time.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Beautiful view over tea plantation and a possibility for a walk just near by. Excellent host and great home made food! If you are looking forward some privacy and quiet time you found it.
