Perched on the bank, magnificent views of the mighty Mekong from the private balcony, walking distance of shops and restaurants. Room was spacious, enough to store all bags, comfortable bed with soft pillows. Bathroom well designed and clean. AC was quiet, fan also provided. Breakfast a la carte was fine. High on eco-credentials.
Staff were very friendly and picked us up and dropped us off at the slowboat pier. They do a breakfast and packed lunch service for a small fee which was good! Had private bathroom which was a plus and AC. Cheap and cheerful served it’s purpose well for 1 night stay between slow boat days.
I have spent a nice time at this lovely guesthouse. The view for the breakfast is amazing.
The room was clean, the matress was good and every comodity was at a walking distance.
The guesthouse is situated in a quiet neighborhood, next to the main area and the city center nightlife (10 min walking). I met great people when we shared the included breakfast. The staff was always happy to help and got me a meal for the slowboat journey, and a free tuktuk ride to pick me up and drive me back to the slowboat.
Great location in Pak beng, a 3 minute walk from the boat and surrounded by all the food places. Private room and private bathroom was a plus. Breakfast is also served but at extra cost, still affordable.
Property was in great location, the staff were SO friendly. they picked us up from the slow boat pier and then made breakfast and lunch for the next day, for an added cost but it was very very cheap and totally worth it. The rooms were fine, perfect for one night stay ready for the slow boat the next day. Good value for money
