She always , even before arriving made sure we receive correct information. Breakfast was very nice and tasty and all food reccommendation by the owner are worth to follow. The host was so kind. every morning he made us breakfast and thoroughly cleaned the rooms and bathrooms. it was squeaky clean and had heaters in each of the beds to keep you warm. So much to do in Sokcho! The location was ideal next to the intercity bus stop and a short walk from the beach.

I had a great stay in Gipson Guesthouse. The room was remarkably clean and the host was very attentive.
You should know before coming that the mattress is very hard, but if you don't mind that you will enjoy your stay. the location is not ideal and requires taking the bus to go to town and the park.

Location was excellent, close to the city centre but not directly within it which meant peace and quiet. The breakfast selection was extensive and catered for all kinds of tastes and preferences.
Perfect stay here! Great location, clean, provided free water, toiletries, and best of all it’s quiet. Ppl here are friendly. Host was very helpful, thanks for helping to arrange an early morning taxi ride for me to visit Seoraksan National park.
The owners were so kind, the rooms are cozy and charming, the location is very good (quiet but close to the beach... with the door open you can hear the waves), hotel is stocked with anything you could need or want, their dog is so precious, and the rooftop terrace is a great feature. Thank you for everything! I will stay again.
It was only a short visit for me as I was visiting the national park (great location to do so) the owner was so helpful and gave me step by step how to get there. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and had all the necessary facilities in the kitchen and bathroom. It was a quiet relaxing get away and had everything you need. The owner even went above and beyond - I had to get a bus early the next morning back to Seoul and the owner kindly drove me to the station. Highly reccomend staying here! Overall great experience

This is a great little place. Really comfy and private bed in dorm. Great communal breakfast area. Host is so lovely and makes breakfast sandwiches. Near to bus stop to get around Sokcho. Quiet and clean.
Fantastic hostel. We stayed in a private room which was quiet, clean, comfortable and well maintained. The hostel itself is located exactly where you want to be when exploring the city by foot, as well as being very near bus stops to get to the national park - the main bus stop to get to Seoul is also in walking distance. James, the hostels manager, is incredibly helpful and happy to give lots of local recommendations.
