Quite a special house, made of logs. It’s very big. Upstairs is good for 6pax and there’s a small tatami area for another 2 pax. Kitchen is fully equipped and functional. Bedsheets and towels felt clean. Comforters and blankets were clean too. There’s a heater downstairs, can just on it for the night in the winter. It made the house warm the whole night. The caretaker of the property are very friendly and very responsive in communicating via booking message.

When we arrived the host gave us a warm welcome us and gave us a tour of the property before giving us the keys.
The property was fully equipped, clean and big.
It was also very well located, close to the shopping street and most touristic attractions of Yufuin.
The host is available most of the time for assistance.

The inn is a beautiful place with a lot of character, and you immediately feel at home. The hosts are sweet, generous and funny, and the food they cook is absolutely amazing.
I stayed in a spacious, clean and comfortable Japanese style room.
The inn is not in the center of town but rather in the quieter part of Yufuin, which was perfect for me. I enjoyed walking to and from the town, although the hosts made sure to offer me a ride to the grocery store and to other places, especially when the weather was rough.
And of course, if you like cats - this place is heaven. The hosts have several funny and super friendly felines, which made my stay even more cosy and cuddly ♥️

Everything! There was a staff welcoming us from when we drove into the area, helped us with the luggages, and led our way to the room. The room was very comfy, quiet, and private. The outdoor onsen was amazing. The atmosphere was relaxing and calm. We also enjoyed the food a lot, both dinner and breakfast. All staffs were friendly and helpful. Nothing to complain. The amenities were also great quality.
It's a little bit farther away from the city center which is perfect if you're looking for a quiet and relaxed stay. If you are getting to Yufuin by public transport it might be a good idea to ask for a transfer from the train station to the hotel. From the room we heard birds singing and could see the mountains. The dinner was also exceptional.
Lovely property in a nice quiet area but yet near the centre of activities.
Rooms were spacious and the private onsens( yes -2! One indoor and another outdoor) were great.
Dinner in the private dining room was very good with free flow of drinks including alcohol.

Very good food, staff are very friendly and helpful. There are only nine bedrooms in the hotel, so it is quiet. Every room has its own private onsen, with high privacy.
We stayed for two nights, overall a very pleasant experience especially it was snowing during our stay :) Most service staff were friendly and helpful, we were offered hot tea upon arrival and two guys took our heavy luggages all the way to the room and gave a quick introduction about the facility and room. Both private and public bath are nice and clean, the public bath was empty most of the time, you can enjoy it all yourself, that’s beyond our expectation. The room is cozy and warm, quiet and private, good for couples.
Stayed with my partner in December for one night. Food was amazing; we got the seasonal sashimi and really felt it was worth it. Great food with great selection of Japanese liquor, charming view of the blue sky and the mountains from our private bath. Staff were very welcoming, especially Hasan, who was doing a great job making the foreign guests feel comfortable.
Wonderfully relaxing to have a private onsen. The breakfast was fantastic and the vending machines outside the room annex were appreciated as we were there in summer.
