It was beautiful, tidy and authentic. The owners are super friendly and helped us with our trip to naoshima island. The rooms were so cute and had a beautiful view of the island & ocean. I would highly recommend staying here!

This was a lovely apartment with all the amenities and a strong life saving AC that helped us survive the Naoshima heat.
The location is great, conveniently located just outside the city bus stop and opposite one of the best (if not THE best) Okonomiyaki places we’ve ever been in Japan.

Surprisingly good room, like a small one-bedroom flat on the ground floor. Easy access to the road, free parking right outside. Very quiet at night. Close to a few restaurants in the next village, and also close to famous art galleries. Facilities were great, including a washing machine. The owner, Tetsuo, was very helpful and friendly.

Staff is really nice, and the house has a very good vibe. Well located near one of the ports and some of the art. Clean, with nice equipment and rooms big enough to open your luggage comfortably.

Very nice house in japanese style in the middle of nature. The accomodation offers bikes for rent so that you can easily reach everything on the Island. Very helpful host with nice contact in advance. Unfortunately there was a water stain on the ceiling and due to that there was a moldy smell in the room. Nevertheless a Good Place to stay for a Night when on Naoshima.

We were expecting a little more when we arrived (it’s literally a shipping container) but as we turned the air-con on and cooled down the room, we adjusted and it was a little more comfortable. The location is perfect, and the staff were so friendly. The towels were replaced every day and they turned down our beds, which was very much appreciated. Overall it was a really enjoyable stay, however for the price point, I’d recommend for people to spend a little more money and stay at the Benesse Hotel.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Everything. I checked in very late - they were so accommodating. Especially considering my inconsiderate behaviour. It’s a perfect cheap and cheerful Uno stop. And the bookstore/bar is exceptionally cool!
Very convenient if you are traveling from/to Naoshima. Cheaper than the options in the island and the 20-minute ferry to get there is only 300 yen. The port is walking distance from the hostel. Very clean, towel provided, comfortable, excellent staff.
The staff - they were just fabulous. Intelligent young people who were clearly interested in our experience with good advice. The location was chosen for proximity to the ferry. The room was traditional and comfortable. AC was quiet.
Very friendly and English speaking staff, ready to share information about the area. Comfortable rooms and private bathrooms. Delicious breakfast. Excellent location 2 minutes walk from ferry to Naoshima. Highly recommended.
Very comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast. We enjoyed the complimentary onsen experience.
Great location near to train and ferry station. Appreciated the baggage storage while we visited Naoshima.
Great location to visit the islands or connecting to Okayama. Fantastic breakfast. Max has great recommendations for food in Uno. Very friendly and helpful host. Very clean private bathroom/shower.
Very charming traditional house! I stayed 2 nights in the female dorm which was so cozy, quiet and confortable. The corridors reminded me of the ones in Spirited Away film! The staff was so friendly! Lot of space, very clean, this is a peaceful place where I could have stayed longer ! I warmly recommend this place !
