We had an amazing stay at Koa! The entire staff was super friendly and helpful, and we had a great time with them! They definitely made our stay really special. We booked two different snorkeling activities with them and it was a great experience. We definitely recommend doing the same.
The cabin was super comfortable and the guest house is very equipped. You can easily reach all beaches by car and you can walk to one of them. It’s also close to the downtown area with many restaurants.

Everything was very clean and the owner of the guest house is extremely nice. He was very eager to help with any issues at hand and made sure guests had the best possible stay. About 10 minutes away by bike is miyako's prettiest beach (see pictures). You can lend things at the guest house counter for a very reasonable price like snorkeling gear and bikes.

The cottage-type facility surrounded by nature is peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast and access to a beach is very good. All the staff including the room cleaning staff were very friendly and willing to welcome guests. As the facility is out of the city center, the night sky is very attractive. If lay-back chairs or hammocks can be arranged in the garden, people can spend time star-gazing. If you are coming for a quiet, relaxing vacation with amazing views of the ocean, you will get it here.
Clean, bright, located just over the road from the beach so it’s quieter and more private than its twin hotel Santa Monica. The hotel is in the Shigira complex so you receive complementary cable seats ticket (800yen/adult) and one time parking at Shigira beach (1000yen/car). The facilities are generous. I will come back.
