This place is a hidden gem, I always recommend it when someone travels to Hiroshima. The rustic and traditional style of the house is nice and provide a nice environment to enjoy the nature surrounding the area. The house has tatami and you can experience sleeping on a futon.
Kengo-san is an excellent host, I have been there 4-5 times and it's always a nice experience. The property can allow BBQ and camping but ask for details with the owner.

Seldom leave reviews. But this is one of the prettiest and cleansest hostels i’ve ever stayed at. You will live a little outside the city, but very easy to get to center with only needing to go 1 stop on the train leaving quite often. About 40 min with train + tram to Museum and park. Very sweet lady running the place, and the hostel is absolutly stunning and incredibly clean. Free washer and dryer + good kitchen. Also great restaurant attached that opens about 17.

The beds were pretty cozy. Even though they're a bit small, I think they use the space well so it doesn't feel like it (e.g. having a little counter in the room so you can put belongings). The rooms itself also had enough space to place extra luggage. They also had some bicycle locks to attach your luggage with and some locked storage space in case you are worried about security. Laundry was cheap. Staff was friendly.

Great location my room faced the river and peace museum and I could see the bomb dome. Centrally located with the trolley just a couple hundred metres away. Quiet area at night restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Good value and rooms were big enough you could walk around a bit in them. Vending machines had beer in them which was convenient.
Great localization, just few hundred meters from Hiroshima station. We like Randor a lot for their luxury Standard. It is very nice to stay for several nights and have a chill in between visiting places. Great location to move around using trains or on foot as well

People in the big dorm type room were quiet.
Absolutely marvelous. It was all great; the room, the staff, loved the shower, cheap laundry facilities. Great location; very close to all the happenings but still quiet on saturdaynight. I also had the best deal pricewise. Would not hesitate to book again.
This hotel is in a great location. Peace park, museum and fast boat to Miyajima all 10 mins away. Coffee shops and restaurants near by.
The room was lovely. Very comfortable and plenty of room to spread out. I loved the lounge by the windows. Very clean and quiet. We didn't have breakfast here but went to the komeda Cafe for an early cheap breakfast before catching the boat.
The winter illuminations were fun to look at in the evening. They were just up the road from the hotel.
