Everything. The bed was so comfortable and you'll get good value for your money ! Mino is a gem, unless you been there before. The bus stop is just outside the door, if you don't have your own wheels. The old couple who runs the Guesthouse is so kind and helpful. If I was to go to Mino again, this would be my choice of accommodation, every time.

Kozaemon, hotel in Gujo

Located in Gujo in the Gifu region, Kozaemon features a garden. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 50 km from Shirakawago.

We ended up here when our camping plans got cancelled, and it turned out to be the best choice! This lovely family-run inn made us feel so welcome that we stayed an extra night. It’s in a perfect spot for exploring Takayama, Shirakawa-go, and other nearby gems. The hosts gave great local tips, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed trying the nearby restaurants and relaxing at the onsen in town. Everyone we met was really friendly, making our experience even better. Highly recommended for a cozy, convenient stay with a personal touch!

This is a lovely Japanese house in the traditional area of Gujo Hachiman in a great location. It comfortably fit our family of five, is clean and has all the necessary facilities. It also has a little terrace overlooking the river which is a very peaceful place to have a coffee. The owner was very friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

This hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood, we did self drive so a 5 minutes drive would bring us to eateries nearby. This hotel is more for those who do self drive. Room is of reasonable size. Free coffee and tea on the first floor. As we stayed only one night, we did not have time to explore nearby.

Gujo Hachiman is a lovely small town, and あぽろん is ideally located as a base for a visit. The accommodation is shared with the owners, but is private. Bedrooms are upstairs, but the bathroom and toilet is downstairs. The hosts were very helpful, despite having limited English, thanks to Google translate.

Great little place, seemingly above a cafe. It was not open when I was there. Check in was easy, and the facility has everything you need. Free Wi-Fi, laundry cheaper than coin laundry, kitchen, shower, and toiletries to buy or towels to rent. I ended up in a room alone, which was nice. They are doing all they can in a small space in a tight town. I found a parking lot that would take my bike overnight. I wish I could have stayed longer. Perfect lodging in a great town.
