The staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in an hour before. The staff also spoke English and were able to give recommendations of things to do in the area. The room was very large with comfortable beds. The lobby has many amenities for use by all guests for free including various drinks.

Spacious room, clean and well airconditioned. Enjoyed it here, Staff was so friendly he picked me up and dropped me off to my bus station and showed me the view of the city! Gave me excellent tips on how to get around and what to do. I had a great time in Beppu and this guesthouse was one of the reasons, Thank you !! :)

Great location, near the bus stop which will take you to most places, easy walk to the station, and lots of restaurants in the vicinity. The communal kitchen has everything you need, fridge, freezer, cooking utensils etc. The reception area is a lounge with lots of seating and plays ambient music. Really chill. My second stay and will stay again.

Location gave us uninterrupted bay view, quiet without street noise. The layout of the room amenities bathrobes Japanese house clothes all added to the experience. Breakfast was sumptuous . Access to a private hot tub was well used.
The luxury of Japanese hospitality. Spacious and very clean room, excellent staff services. Delicious breakfast. Private open air bath was truly amazing.
The location was walking distance from a lot of interesting onsen. The host was incredibly kind, be sure to ask him for restaurants and onsen recommendations! The facility itself was homely and very pleasant, quiet too. All of this for a price which is honestly quite cheap. If I visit Beppu again, this is the place I'll return to.
Looked exactly like the photos, provided ammenities (toothbrush, towel etc), kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies, living room space to eat/hang out, comfortable beds, modern apartment, free parking spot out the front and great location to convenience stores, parks, city centre, onsens and hikes.
Authentic Japanese ryokan. Three onsens available for private use, just write your room name on the timesheet. Very friendly and helpful hosts and their staff made for a most enjoyable stay. We had breakfast each day and an exquisite dinner on our last evening. Not cheap but well worth it as a treat.
