If you’re looking to get away from the crowds of Varenna, this is the place for you. It was a beautiful property nestled in the mountains above Lake Como. You cannot beat the view!! We loved sitting by the church right around the corner and admiring the view from up high. Romana is the best host. She greeted us with beers after a long journey. Each morning she made a delicious breakfast with eggs, bacon, cheeses, and fruits. We look forward to hopefully staying here again!
There are only a few taxis for the entire town of Varenna so it is advisable to have a car if you’re staying here. Be prepared for a windy and narrow road up to the house!

Lovely B&B up the mountains in Lake como. The place was very clean and the breakfast provided was perfect! We got coffee, cheese and cold cuts, eggs and pancakes! Alessandro and his wife are amazing hosts who will make you feel right at home. They are very attentive and accommodating with some amazing stories to tell. Alessandro even invited us for some grapa in his wine cellar.

Modern apartment, clean and all things in the apartment are new. They have a restaurant in front of the location which is amazing with great food! Over the main street, you can dive into the lake, which we did and we saw the sunset from the water. Amazing.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Place is a small boutique hotel located in a great location. Rooms are very comfortable. We had three rooms two attic lake view and one with balcony. All were very good. Close to ferry docks and many restaurants around and an excellent restaurant within hotel. An excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. We had great time there and will be going back.
The location was fabulous and the house was quaint with plenty of Italian charm. We had a great view from the windows of the hillside and it was quiet and peaceful being a little up from the lake. The host was lovely and prompt to respond, and left us a contact with their housekeeper for fast communication via WhatsApp, and were also kind enough to leave us a bottle of Prosecco upon arrival. The furniture is very comfortable despite being old, and is very charming. We were very comfortable for our stay.

The bedroom and bathroom are not only spotlessly clean and comfortable but have also been recently refurbished. The owner is both hospitable and knowledgeable, enhancing the stay with her expertise. The curated breakfast she serves is absolutely fantastic, with every element reflecting the highest quality. This bed and breakfast is memorable and comes highly recommended!

Matteo is super friendly and helpful. We had a severe setback in our flight, and Matteo was super flexible and understanding. The apartment is spacious, very clean, well equipped, and has the most fantastic view of the lake. Grocery shop and bakery are a few minutes away. Private and large parking. Very quiet!

The location is incredible, the view is astonishing. It's very quiet due to its more remote style location in a less 'touristy' town on lake como. We stayed over 3 nights and the villa was better than expected, private, remote and with every amenity you'd ever need on a short or even long stay. The host is an absolute delight too and couldn't be more polite or helpful by giving local tips and answering every need of ours! Couldn't recommend more.
Great location - peace and quiet. It's a big apartment with a nice view and access to the garden. It's a parking place available. Short distance to the lake (ferry and bus) and to the Green Lake path.
