Hvammból Guesthouse, hotel in Vík

Hvammból Guest house is a small, family-run guest house located 6.2 mi from Vík.

The location was perfect place to stay for day trips along the southern coast of Iceland. The view from the room as spectacular and the night sky with the northern lights was breathtaking. It was quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed seeing the horses on the farm and we have some great pictures with my wife and one of the horses. Having a kitchenette in the room was golden. Allowed us to save money on food eating out which is expensive. Could not have been more perfect for us. Such a lovely place to stay. We did not want to leave.

Guesthouse Galleri Vík, hotel in Vík

Featuring a garden, Guesthouse Galleri Vík features accommodations in Vík. This beachfront property offers access to free Wifi and free private parking.

This place was so cozy and enough space for a family of 4 adults. It was close and a good base for the south of Iceland. There are two bedrooms, stocked kitchen and a private bathroom. Everything was updated and clean. We loved the waffle batter and homemade cheese for the early mornings.

Prestshús 2 Guesthouse, hotel in Vík

Prestshús 2 Guesthouse offers accommodations in Vík, a 12-minute walk from Reynisfjara Beach and 21 miles from Skogafoss Waterfall.

This is the best place, hands down. Everyone is so kind, so so kind. Room & bathrooms were immaculate, beautiful, and warm - not a hint of dust or debris. Sound proofing is rather good; any noise was remarkably muted. Lots of amenities were available. There was even a selection of Iceland books to peruse in the dining room. And the magnum opus - the view. The view was simply breathtaking. Not many views outside can compare. Will miss Prestshús! Thank you, Ragga & Einar!!! 😊

Eystri-Solheimar, hotel in Vík

Eystri-Solheimar features rooms in Vík. Private parking free of charge. The rooms in the guest house are equipped with a kettle. The units will provide guests with a fridge.

I was a little skeptical due to shared bathroom, but booked anyway because of good review. And the reviews did not lie. My sister and I were driving back pretty late and it was out of check in time, I texted the owner and he answered quickly helping out with our late check in. He also posted a direction note at the front door for us to find our room, and helped us with our carryon upstairs. Our room was clean and pretty spacious. And it had a sink, which we really appreciated being girls with makeup and skincare routine. The shared bathroom was also very clean. The house was not exactly in Vik town but about 15 min drive, it would be a good location for northern light hunting, being quite remote and dark. Breakfast was not exactly my Asian taste but I appreciated it nonetheless, especially being in Iceland. Definitely staying again it coming back.

It’s a great location in Vik - a short walk from everything else in the town. The bathroom/kitchen facilities are shared but they’re very well kept, clean and always available. The room was comfy and warm and generally quiet and it was easy to park outside.

Great location, clean, modern, surpassed expectations even better than photos, twin room was actually a twin which is hard to get in iceland ahaha, the sitting area was lovely, had a “kitchenette” kind of thing with a kettle, microwave and a fridge so that was very handy. Bathrooms were modern and clean, would drive to Vik to stay there again 👍 was the cheapest place on my trip and favourite

Great location, kitchen area well fitted out, we got a private room and it was lovely, could have maybe used one additional bathroom on the floor but overall it was lovely and so close to Vik.

Located in the middle of nowhere - still near Vik i Myrdal - the Volcano Hotel is lovely place to be! The hotel itself is special and charming, the environment is very quaint. The fact that you can enjoy the latter at any place of the hotel - especially during breakfast - is a big plus! Also the staff was really friendly and welcoming. In a nutshell: One of the best (and cheapest | out of eight) accommondations we had during our trip in Iceland.
