Guesthouse Carina was a delightful guesthouse with nice location in Vík. The accommodation was clean, well organised, cosy and welcoming.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a breathtaking view on the mountains.
There was also a free parking (that's still practical) and you can also find a lot of restaurants /pub not too far.

Location in the countryside with breeding birds all around. Good, home-cooked food. Friendy service.

It was extremely sketchy. Holes in the windows, nothing clean, and no one at the property. Had to call the owner several times and then they said they needed a bank transfer. It felt like a scam and was so scary that we left.

A true home away from home. Excellent place to stay in Vik Iceland. Very welcoming hosts and the place has all the facilities and amenities you need. We must mention the whole apartment was beautifully decorated. Also our host was kind enough to offer some delicious home made jam and cheese for us.
It’s just a few minutes walk from the black sand beach and also the shopping areas nearby. You can see the beautiful mountain cliffs from the windows. We loved the place and we highly recommended this place to anyone traveling to South Iceland.

This is one of the best guesthouses in my trip to Iceland and Norway. The house owner Eva is an artist, she has very gods feeling of how to make house comfortable. The house is decorated with some of her collection and her paintings. The house surrounding is very nice, like a beautiful farm, her and chickens running on green grassland. Flowers are blooming on the way to the house. We really love everything here. We enjoyed so much there. Eva is very helpful as well, she helps me fixed my hat. If we come back again, we will definitely book her guesthouse and I would also recommend her house to my friends.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
It’s a great location in Vik - a short walk from everything else in the town. The bathroom/kitchen facilities are shared but they’re very well kept, clean and always available. The room was comfy and warm and generally quiet and it was easy to park outside.
Great location, clean, modern, surpassed expectations even better than photos, twin room was actually a twin which is hard to get in iceland ahaha, the sitting area was lovely, had a “kitchenette” kind of thing with a kettle, microwave and a fridge so that was very handy. Bathrooms were modern and clean, would drive to Vik to stay there again 👍 was the cheapest place on my trip and favourite
Great location, kitchen area well fitted out, we got a private room and it was lovely, could have maybe used one additional bathroom on the floor but overall it was lovely and so close to Vik.
Easily reached from the main road but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent breakfast included and very comfortable mattresses.
Located in the middle of nowhere - still near Vik i Myrdal - the Volcano Hotel is lovely place to be!
The hotel itself is special and charming, the environment is very quaint. The fact that you can enjoy the latter at any place of the hotel - especially during breakfast - is a big plus!
Also the staff was really friendly and welcoming.
In a nutshell: One of the best (and cheapest | out of eight) accommondations we had during our trip in Iceland.
