Loved the apartment! Everything there you might need for a comfortable stay. We used the kitchen and there were even some spices and herbs. The bed was cozy and the shower was strong and hot.
But the best part of course,is the wonderful hot tub. We even saw the northern lights while chilling in the hot water.
The owners were super friendly and helpful.
The location is great for the golden circle and the south. A small village with many restaurants, supermarkets, gas station and Selfoss is just around the corner!

Breakfast was terrible. Ham, yellow cheese, tomato and cucumber. There was not even butter, nor anything warm. Oatmeal was cold and hard as a rock, we were in shock. In the room from the inside the door handle got stuck in our hand a few times. There was no tea in the room, only coffee.

We love the breakfast. Hosts make sure that we had enough and they were attentive until we finish eating. The breakfast has everything, cereals, seeds, pancakes, eggs, bread, meats, and so on.
The place could be seen as little and simple but the truth is that once you are in, the ambient is very cozy, nice, clean and comfortable. Another thing is that is near from everywhere between the city, golden circle or if you need to go to the beach. Please not hesistate when the rooms are available. We really enjoy the sauna also!!! My family and I went to 3 different types of stays> cottage, hotels and houses in Iceland but this will keep in our hearts!!!

Clear instructions on check in, very clean. Great location: quiet, lots of parking right in front. Most important: very responsive hostess, who went over and beyond: we reached just as most eateries were closing, and had no cutlery with us. One phone call, and she brought us cutlery within 5 minutes on a Sunday night. Thank you
By 22:00, the hotel is very quiet. A few people checking in late rolling luggage down the hallway but we were never disturbed. We stayed at 4 other hotels and the skyr here with toppings was the best. Excellent breakfast!
Good location with easy parking. we had a large family room. Excellent breakfast with waffles, cold cheese, fruit and porridge, eggs and bacon. if you have a car, great location close to town with some restaurants and attractions including geo thermal swimming pool, and geysers where you could boil eggs in the groundwater and eat with freshly baked rye bread.
Sigga is a very friendly and nice host and she had very helpful advice on what to do in the area. The room is quiet, clean, cosy and comfortable with a nice private patio outside. Breakfast is home made and delicious! We will surely go back another time when again in Iceland and we strongly recommend !
A perfect little guesthouse with really nice people running it. Very nice double room with a big bed and brand new bathroom. The backyard patio with a hot tub is so cosy and nice with lights and hammocks between the trees. Great location for small hikes to the hot springs or for driving around discovering Island. Private parking and nice neighbourhood. A small waterfall with jumping trouts few minutes away. Restaurants, bakery and a supermarket is about a 10 minutes walk.
