We LOVED everything. The host, the house, the coziness, the position in front of the ocean, we could see an amazing show of northern nights. Olga, the host, is incredibly kind and nice; we had a last minute change of plans because of the weather and our northern lights chase and despite of the very short notice of our request she was so flexible and accommodating. The house is amazingly decorated, you really feel like home and honestly if we wouldn’t have had so less time during our trip, we would have loved to relax there some more days. Absolutely recommended!! 🩷

What a beautiful and serene spot! It feels a little more secluded, which is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful stay.
The interiors are very tastefully remodeled and impeccably clean. Lots of thoughtful touches made for a comfortable stay. We slept so well here.
We were also able to utilize the kitchen for simple cooking. We also used the laundry to do a mid-trip wash, much needed. Highly recommend staying here!

I had my own bathroom, which is often not the case with guest houses. It’s on a working farm. The common room and restaurant are lovely. The Icelandic lady was very nice and helpful with ideas for food and walking. The farm dog is lovely, and wants you to throw sticks…… endlessly! Breakfast was the usual Icelandic fare, but perhaps a notch or two better with variety and quality.

We enjoyed this farm house! It was a homely lodging with a cute sitting room and heirloom art, cross-stitching, and furniture throughout. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, and utensils for cooking. The beds (all singles or twins) were very comfortable, and the farm was very scenic. Overall it was a cozy change from the more modern and minimalist guesthouses that we stayed at for the majority of our trip.

Clean, big room, good value. The guest rooms were surrounding the kitchen/dining area and bathroom. There is a campground adjacent to the guesthouse, and campers had a bathroom with an entrance right next to the entrance of the guesthouse. The owner facilitated a late-ish checkin (about 8 pm)
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Very charming house right at the seaside with a great view, large private balcony. Comfortable living- and bedroom, good shower. The house is good equipped with everything you need.
the host is very friendly. The accommodation is huge, there is a big kitchen, with lots of dining tables. everything you need for a nice meal. bathroom very tidy. we had the accommodation for ourselves, no other guests. the location was quiet. we enjoyed our stay very much and can recommend it!
Secluded and private property but an amazing stay if you are travelling towards West Iceland. Well maintained rooms and great common space for moving around.
The keys were exactly where the host said they would be, so access to the cottage was a breeze. The location is easy to find, quiet, and private. We loved that there were utensils available and a coffee machine with reusable ceramic cups. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was extremely spacious with towels included. Thank you also for having wash cloths, which is not always the standard in Iceland.
Privately owned house in the middle of Icelandic nature. The host was very welcoming and showed us around his house. There is a big and well equipped kitchen which we could use and a living room/play area for kids. The place was very quiet and clean. The highlight of the stay was the two wild arctic fox pups, living on the farm area, which came out when you whistled and ran around your feet.
Very good breakfast ! Fresh fruits . We had a three beds room. It's spacious, enough room for our luggages. We had dinner in the restaurant, not cheap, but very good foods! Fine dining, fresh , delicious and beautifully displayed.
