Great breakfast
Lovely atmosphere .
Friendly helpful staff
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Wonderful location and very comfortable and welcoming accommodation. Hosts dropped us to and collected us from the Roundwood Inn (very good food and Guinness). Excellent breakfast and packed lunch (for continuing our journey on the Wicklow Way).
Everything was high value - location, facilities (private and common), breakfast selection and freshness
There is even an evening shuttleservice to Roundwood (for dinner). Breakfast upgrade (not necessary), lunchpack and dinner can be ordered.
The location is great for walks in the "wilderness" or just to check the Wicklow Way (500 m from location).
A selection of breakfast food provided, including fresh eggs from the farm. A lovely private space in a peaceful location close to Glendalough. Basic cooking equipment and crockery for cooking dinner.
It had lots of equipment, like a dishwasher, a washing machine and an iron. It was very well stocked, it had tabs for all the machines, there were three types of milk, toast, tea, sugar and so on. It was relatively spacious, the location was perfect for our day trips and it was still very private. Whenever we contacted our hosts, we got an answer in minutes and there was always a good solution for everything.
Great location, everything within a 30 minute drive. Well kitted kitchen, had everything we needed. Clean and warm. Showers and hot water in sinks was nice and hot. Ensuite alittle tight for a bigger man like me but was fine. Nice and quiet at night, no trouble sleeping.
If I could I would give 11 as a review score. Bernie, the host, is the best. Very polite and attentive, and she brings breakfast with croissants, fresh fruits, and local bread every morning. The studio is very cozy and very clean and has everything you need. Comfortable bed, TV, kitchen, kitchenware, tea, and coffee service, welcome food with juices, milk, yogurts, cereal, and chocolate biscuits. Great location, where you can walk only 5min to the city center to buy food or enjoy a happy hour in a pub.
