We enjoyed our stay at Il Gallo Nero due to its location about a 10-minute drive from the nearby town of Wep, which we visited, the spaciousness and quality of our room, the ample parking behind the hotel and in front of the restaurant, which was adjacent to the guest rooms. Luckily for us an English-speaking staff member helped us with everything we needed at the hotel and the environs (note: there is a Coop grocery just down the street from the hotel, for daily needs, with reasonable prices and street parking). Our requests to have food delivered to our room to have after our daily program ended in the evening were always graciously fulfilled. Included breakfast consists of warm dishes, juice, and coffee (note to American travelers: a Flat White is the closest thing to a large coffee we're used to in the U.S., with the other coffee choices being served in tea cups). We would stay at the property again and recommend it to those visiting the small town near the Austrian border.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Very newly and tastefully renovated place in a quiet area. Very well equipped and large communal kitchen, reachable through the outdoor area, also with washing machine and clothes rack. Very spacious bathroom with toilet, and separate toilet as well. Thankfully, the hosts speak English, and they bent over backwards to be of service. Thank you so much for the coffee and the always refilled coffee machine. Two minutes walking distance to bus stop around the corner and reasonably close to the town centre, even on foot.
Beautiful, luxurious and fully equipped apartment. Perfectly located in the centre yet quiet location. Owners were there to greet us so easy access and departure.
The apartment is quite big, with everything you needed even for a longer stay. There is also a parking space inside a yard with barrier. It was quiet, clean and AC was perfect. It’s about 15 minutes walk from the center. Communication with the owner was clear and fast. All in all, it was very good value for the money!
Great location, both the train station and city Centre are close, there is a bakery just opposite the apartment. The owner can be easily contacted and is very flexible
