Zavala is a hidden gem in Hvar. We stayed 2 nights in Zavala and 3 in Jelsa, and I regret not booking this property months earlier! Unlike Jelsa, Hvar and Old Town this place is not crowded and there are not many tourists.
The host is pleasant, we arrived a lot earlier, at 9 AM and they already cleaned our room so we were able to come in at 9:30! That was awesome because we were very tired from all the driving during the night. The room was huge, and the view from the balcony was worth even more than the value we paid.
The place itself is very small, but not crowded, there is a lot of shade just minutes from the accommodation, there is no music, quiet place to relax and spend your vacation. For those seeking to party, this is not a place to visit, but if you are looking for crystal water, peace, and relaxation I recommend it 100%.
Also, all of the staff is great, they gave us ice from the restaurant and Vine opener which we did not have. Great service :)

Our family stayed in three rooms for three nights. The rooms are very nice and have a really large balcony with a stunning sea view. Breakfast was included in the room price and was very nice. The beach is only a few footsteps away and a lovely restaurant is around the corner. The owners are very helpful and friendly.

It is my second stay in the Villa. That time I got the room with the best view to the village from the balcony, The rooms is nice and fully functional, as well as, bathroom. The bed is comfy, towels and beddings are sparkling clean. Internet is fast and reliable.
The shared kitchen is available for the guests It is packed with a lot of utensils, so several families is able to prepare the simple dishes if not willing to go outside. It is very clean with enough space, there is public space with tables in the yard also.
The hosts are very welcoming, willing to explain everything around, with good recommendations about restaurants, places to swim, etc.
The place is highly recommended.

The location is good, the apartment is nicely decorated! The owners let us into the apartment earlier than the check-in time.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.

The house was perfect for our family holiday! Well equipped, well located, clean. The AC in every room and the private jacuzzi on the terrace were wonderful additions to what would have already been a great vacation home. We may come back!
A perfectly equipped house with a beautiful sea view in a cozy village, ideal for those who enjoy peace and quiet. The AC was working very well. Barbecue facilities were available. The owner was in touch with us all the time and the welcome wine was delicious. We had a very nice vacation, thank you Corinna!
Castaway is true to its ethos and charming in its simplicity. The staff members are all lovely and run a relaxed, but efficient enough operation. The tents are small, but comfortable, and nothing beats listening to the calming sounds of the sea during the night. The beach is very close by and it is possible to rent kayaks and SUPs to add to the fun!
With great pleasure we give the best rating to this facility and the hosts. People (Mr. Frane and his mother Sanja) obviously know how to do their job.
The restaurant is on the ground floor in very nice and quiet ambience, next to the sea.
The seaview from the apartment is particularly beautiful.

The house is ideal for couple or family holidays. It is located in a beautiful pine forest, very close to the sea and several beautiful beaches. The house contains more than is necessary for daily functioning. There are several bars nearby, but at the same time far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. The owners are very friendly and approachable, and Mrs. Melanija, who manages the house, is available for anything you need. I really recommend it if you want a good location for peace, rest, clean sea... It is especially nice there in May.
Demir is just the best host! The property was super clean, beautiful, and the breakfast was so delicious with eggs, fresh fruit, bread, and even a latte!
This apartment is in a great location with swimming beaches nearby.
While it is a little old, it was comfortable and had most things we needed.
