The Ship is in a fabulous spot just yards from the beach at Dunwich.
The pub itself has a fantastic atmosphere and the standards of food & drink are very good.
Our room was in the pub itself (rather than the out building) and was very comfortable.

Lovely well run Inn - well situated to visit Southwold & Aldeburgh, Snape , Sutton Hoo . ( 30 mins) . King Suite. Room was very clean and comfortable and warm , refreshed daily . Food was very good and well presented. Staff are very polite and helpful - has an old fashioned quality of caring for guests . Be nice to visit in Summer aswell and sit in the garden. Would recommend - was a very relaxing stay .

The room was very clean and comfortable, with all I needed. There was a dressing gown and slippers to use, normally only in top hotels! Tea and coffee with the extra touch of 'proper coffee, and a fridge of fresh milk and water. The bathroom was modern, clean and small touches of bathroom 'bits' as a compliment.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
It was a great place to stay. Comfortable clean and quiet. A few plates, cutlery and tea towel and washing up liquid would have been helpful as there was a kettle and toast but once we asked the owner dropped then in straight away.

The open kitchen was well equipped, but as we only stayed for 1 night minimum usage was required.

Lovely rooms in quaint old pub. - rooms rather hot - had windows open but comfortable beds and good quality linen fixtures and fittings .
Nice large walk-in shower.
Evening meal and breakfast food were excellent .
Lovely house, great location. Master bedroom will guarantee a fab sleep, bed is super comfy and it is sooooo quiet. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, lovely welcome basket of goodies. Highly recommend this house. Also, our little old dog is blind and the garden was perfect for her x
