Traditional local pub on the Main Street. Plenty of parking. Pub was very popular and bar crowded but everyone was welcoming and friendly. Noisy downstairs but quiet in my room. Room was very comfortable and clean. Good facilities, tea/coffee/ biscuits… even an iron and hairdryer. Shower tiny but functional. Had dinner, good pub grub,plenty and freshly cooked. Great value. Staff were really friendly too.

The Bears Paw never disappoints, rooms are always comfortable, clean and staff always helpful. Food is always good, the choice of drinks at the bar is excellent.

This gorgeous cottage was a home from home. It was in a great location: quiet and in the countryside yet so close to so many things to do. Our family of 4 LOVED this cottage. It had 2 lovely bedrooms and the living room and kitchen had all the facilities needed for a self catering break. Would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet location near to Chester.
Great location, easy to access and communicate with the host. Particularly taken by the very deep blue walls and pleased it was quiet despite being on a main road.
