We had a lovely long weekend at Potton Hall. Priscilla was a very attentive host and always on hand if we needed anything. We enjoyed long walks to the coast followed by a long soak in the hot tub as well as the steam room and sauna.
The room was always warm despite us visiting in the middle of January.
The continental breakfast was tasty, fresh and plenty of it to fuel us for a days walking.
We have already booked another stay and looking forward to it.

Location was the main draw. Nice atmosphere in The Ship, restaurant spacious, and cosy bar on the otherside of the building.

Took a while to get checked in as there was a large Funeral party and only 2 staff.

Absolutely perfect. We stayed in the family room and it couldn’t have been better for us and our 2 children. We usually end up squashed in a room at a hotel so this had so much more space. The room was immaculate and great to have a fridge, microwave and use of a kitchen. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back. X

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Great location close to the centre of the town, but a quiet setting. Well furnished in a modern style. Would suit family with young children as there is a park with play equipment just outside the dining room door.
Excellent breakfasts and main courses at dinner. Light clean and well appointed room . Sense of history in the property going back a century. I felt very looked after and putcat ease by the staff.I enjoyed being somewhat away from Southwold, which was within walking distance . Liked the quiet location.Rather nice objects around the hotel. The music in the bar was well chosen.
