We liked everything about the White Hart. It had a good friendly pub atmosphere, with a good local pub feel to it. The staff were very friendly and hard working but nice and relaxed too, making us welcome on arrival and chatting to us when in the pub on the evening. Our room had everything in it you needed and was clean and functional. Our lunch in the pub was nice and we enjoyed our breakfast on the morning we left. The White Hart is right in the centre of St Albans and is very well placed for the shops, market and also the Cathedral and gardens.

Not far from where I’ve been working this was the ideal place to stay. Tucked away in a back garden it feels very private. It is very clean, warm and with all the facilities I need during the working week. Clean towels, a kettle, microwave, cutlery and a fridge. A tv too! The bathroom is kept clean and fresh.

Property was easy to get to / great transport links. Host was lovely, very friendly and provided us with a super breakfast. Couldn't have asked for more. Our room was tastefully decorated, very clean and had very comfortable beds. Will stay again if we're back in London :)

Just came back from a WONDERFUL stay at Ricky Road Guest House. Our lovely suite was beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable. A great use of the space and equipped with everything you might need. Marek took great care of us upon arrival and during our stay. If you need restaurant recommendations he is definitely your guy!
Sam was readily available through whatsapp to answer any questions or requests we had. A 10 out of 10 for customer service! There is a Tesco supermarket at a 6 minute easy walk for any essentials you might need.
My son and I had an amazing time visiting Warner Bros Studios "The Making of Harry Potter" and all the wonders Central London has to offer. Both (and Luton airport) can be easily reached by public transportation and/or Uber.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Very secure access to property. Free parking out front. Communication from host was great pre stay with clear instructions and video on how to access the property. Room was very clean and spacious as was the bathroom.
Located approx. 5 mins drive from city centre. 25 mins walk. Approx. 10 mins from M25 so great location. Above shops but don't let that put you off as the rooms are great and to a high standard.
